A Beautiful Me® is the plastic, cosmetic, weight loss and reconstructive surgery program from J. L. Prado Surgical Center, designed to help you keep looking amazing and feeling great about yourself.
The program was originally founded by Dr. Juan Luis Prado in 1985.
He was one of the most important Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgeons of his time, setting new standards in quality results and patient care. His great work and dedication helped patients achieve beautiful and amazing results.
His legacy is now being followed by his family.
At A Beautiful Me®, we believe that with time, people often have a desire to look for something that makes them feel better. That desire is often related to transforming one’s appearance, which can sometimes be achieved with a new diet, enrolling yourself in a gym, or getting a cosmetic surgery procedure done.

WHAT TO EXPECT COMING TO ABM
If you have already made the decision to have plastic surgery, we would like you to consider the following factors:
- When someone is self-conscious about their appearance or a specific part of their body, they may tend to “hide” or be less outgoing. This is common, and unfortunately, it can hold a person back in life.
- When people feel good about the way they look, they are more willing to take risks, try new things and take control of their lives in new ways.
- A cosmetic procedure gives you a renewed sense of control and confidence.
- It is common for patients to report a boost in confidence after a procedure. They feel good and they look good. This confidence often gives them the motivation they need to set new goals for themselves, to be more outgoing and to feel more comfortable in their own skin.
It is important for our patients to understand the reason why they want to have a cosmetic procedure, that way they can set realistic goals and expectations, understanding that while a procedure may improve their quality of life, it isn’t going to “fix” all of their problems.

Dr. Juan Pablo Cervantes, MD
Dr. Cervantes is a plastic surgeon, specialized in plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
He speaks fluent Spanish and English and has enjoyed a successful, distinguished career to date. Dr. Cervantes has a medical degree from the Faculty of medicine, Autonomous University of Baja California, and a degree in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery from the National University of Mexico.
He has held the positions of Chief Resident of General Surgery and Chief Resident of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hospital General.

Dr. Jackeline Aragon, MD
Dr. Aragon is a plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
She speaks fluent Spanish and English and has enjoyed a successful career, winning prestigious awards such as the National Award for Surgery in Mexico.
Dr Aragon has a Medical degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and has held the position of Chief Resident of General Surgery at Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez, as well as having completed a third-year Residency in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hospital Central Sur.

International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS)
Both doctors are members of the prestigious International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. This is the world's leading professional body for board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons.
Founded in 1970, ISAPS membership includes over 2,400 of the world's best known and respected reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgeons in 94 countries on every continent reflecting the true international mission of the organization. The ISAPS charter was signed at the United Nations.
ISAPS requires that all members also maintain active membership in the national society of plastic surgery in the country where they practice.
To be considered for membership, they must be sponsored by two active or life ISAPS members and must adhere to a rigorous review process, which includes a seven-year practice history beyond graduation from medical school.
American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery (ASAPS)
Members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons; it is the largest plastic surgery specialty organization in the world. Founded in 1931, the Society represents 94% of all board-certified plastic surgeons in the U.S., and more than a thousand plastic surgeons worldwide, making ASPS a global institution and leading authority on cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery.
The mission of ASPS is to advance quality care to plastic surgery patients by encouraging high standards of training, ethics, physician practice and research in plastic surgery.
